About The Creator

Hello, I’m Amy Giddins, the creator behind Brimble Art. I live in the beautiful seaside town of Felixstowe, where the Suffolk coastline provides endless inspiration for my work.

Each piece I create begins with something simple, often an object found along the shore such as a piece of sea glass, driftwood, or a shell, and becomes something entirely new and personal. I love giving new life to the materials our coastline offers, transforming them into bespoke artworks that capture a sense of place, memory, and nature’s quiet beauty.

Brimble Art is my way of sharing a little bit of Felixstowe with the world, the colours of the sea, the feeling of wind off the pier, and the stories hidden in every tide-washed treasure.

Christmas Suffolk Sea Glass Collection

This set of three Christmas-themed artworks is created from sea glass collected along the Felixstowe shoreline, especially down the Dip, where the tide often reveals hidden gems. Each fragment of glass once tumbled through years of waves and sand before being gathered and given new life in these festive scenes.

The first piece features two robins and a Christmas tree, a gentle moment of togetherness and winter cheer. The second, a simple sea glass tree crowned with a shining star, captures the calm and beauty of the season. The third shows a robin beside a tree and sprig of holly, symbolising hope and the small joys found in nature.

Every piece in this collection carries a little of Felixstowe’s coast within it — shaped by the sea, warmed by memory, and reimagined for Christmas.
